Held at the beautiful, historic oceanfront White Court Estate in Swampscott, the one-time summer home of former U.S. president John Calvin Coolidge Jr., the 4th annual Best of the North Shore was quite a night! More than 1,500 guests turned out to celebrate the Best of the North Shore Readers’ and Editors’ choice winners. VIP guests enjoyed valet parking followed by early admission to the event, tasty bites from Timothy Hopkins catering, Jules Rosé Sparkling Wine, a rosé garden, private bar, Gambino Prosecco, and luxury swag bags filled with everything from macarons from BONS winner Caramel French Patisserie in Salem to baseball caps from another BONS winner, Rumson’s Rum. However, all guests were treated like royalty at the event, as they danced under the stars to the beats of DJ Chris Roxx and sampled and sipped from some of the best wine purveyors, breweries, restaurants, chocolatiers, and bakeries on the North Shore, including Besito, Bellavella, Burtons Grill, Cider Hill Farm, Deacon Giles, Notch Brewery, Privateer Rum, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Ipswich Ale Brewery, Pipe Dream Cupcakes, and many, many more! A special thank you to our sponsors, Salem Five, 36creative, By the Sea Sotheby’s, MarketStreet Lynnfield, RIBCRAFT, DrinkThink, Beauport Hospitality Group, and Capital Carpet and Flooring Specialists Inc.; and to our partners, Pour Garden, DJ Chris Roxx, The Classic Yellow, Benoit & McCarthy Photography, J. Alvarez & Company, bornimagery, ALLSTAR Entertainment & UpLighting, Landry & Arcari Rugs and Carpeting, and Corliss Bros. Incorporated Garden Center and Nursery, for adding all those extra special details that made this a night to remember! Congratulations again to all our winners!
Fusion sushi, a cross between Japanese flavors and delicate sauces and styles of France, is Karma’s specialty. Our chefs add their own personal style and the outcome is so amazing that it has an almost addicting quality to it.
A couple weeks ago, a bunch of the AFC Champion New England Patriots were in Andover at Karma Restaurant Andover to meet some of their biggest fans. The players were treated to an amazing assortment of Asian cuisine while interacting, signing autographs, and taking pictures with guests. A few of the players even tried their hand at making sushi to serve to a few lucky people.
Greece is a country steeped in history and tradition, with a proud cultural heritage. It’s food and hospitality is an extension of that rich tradition. Just as in Greece, Tinos features an ingredient driven, contemporary Greek menu with the focus on the island itself that incorporates all of the traditions with a more modern look to pairings and flavors. In addition to the menu, Tinos offers a backdrop inspired by modern day Greece. Enjoy food and cocktails around the Fire-Pit on their three season patio, watch your meal prepared for you on a Robata Grill, or post up with friends at the bar and enjoy live entertainment.
